The Russian cultural centre, Pushkin House in Bloomsbury, is hosting an exhibition which takes as its starting point the short stories of the relatively little known early 20th century Russian writer Sigizmund Krzhizhanovsky. Krzhizhanovsky’s work occupies a fascinating area of science fantasy and alternative reality, providing great inspiration for creating new art works. Amongst the exhibiting artists are several XAP members – Anya Charikov-Mickleburgh, Dina Varpahovsky, Ana Oak, Liz Sergeant and Laura Dekker. The show opens on 29th September and continues until 13th November.
