Liz Sergeant was invited to be the Artist in Residence at a recent leadership conference in Derbyshire. Over three days, Liz led workshops and hosted a drop-in session, where delegates with varying degrees of artistic skill learned about portraiture through the ages, and experimented in drawing their own and others’ portraits. Hidden talents were discovered using a range of media and a variety of drawing techniques designed to encourage exploration.
